Glee Video

This is a practise video, we're lip syncing to the song 'dont stop believing' by glee, this was so we can understand how we should do our music video, and to have and idea on what is needed, such as cameras, lighting, mise en scene, and also editting; what softwares we can use and such. The process of doing this has really helped me understand and i have gained skills on how to use a camera properly and how to editing; e.g using different effects and softwares.

Practise Makes Perfect

Lesson 29/09/10

During this lesson we recorded and made a video of my media group and did a perfomance. We practiced lip synching to a song by Glee-'Don’t Stop Believing'. Lip-synching is another word for miming, this is used to show the artist has musical ability, However some artists are not as confident singing live in front of people and lip-synching can eliminate the possibility of hitting any bad notes, so they don't make a fool of themselves.

My media class split into two groups, we recorded each other during the performance, so we can gain camera skills, we recorded from different angles and also took photos as you can see. Also if there was any muck ups, we editted them on Apple Macs. This trial made it easier for us to lip-sync, so in our actualy music video we will know what to do, as we have experienced it during this performance. also we observed which was our weakest and highest points.
